Honoured and Grateful

Who was Thomas Chippendale?

1718 is named after the year in which Thomas Chippendale was born. But who was Chippendale and why does he mean so much to us? Michael Mancini explores the life of a man who was an extraordinarily talented cabinet maker, designer – and much more besides.
